The Hotel is located at number 4 calle del Carmen, right in the center of Madrid's tourist and commercial center, an excellent base for walking tours and just moments from the metro, Cercanias train and buses.

The Hotel Europa dates back to the year 1917, located in an 1860 building which was renovated in 2006. The Cuban painter Juan Gris, who was nicknamed Jose Victoriano, was born here in 1887.
